HSA International - Can someone with a physical handicap becomes a diver? Yes! They need medical clearance stating there is no condition incompatible with diving, and to certify they still have to meet the requirements. However, there is sufficient latitude for adaptive techniques – roll-in entry instead of a giant stride, for example. Someone who cannot meet all the requirements might qualify to dive under special supervision, or certify with certain restrictions. The Handicapped Scuba Association (HSA) trains instructors to teach those with special challenges. Visit their website or call USA +1 949-498-6128

REEF RELIEF Mooring Buoy program - establish a mooring buoy to protect the reef where YOU dive. Eliminate the need to "drop anchor" when at the reef. Commercial and recreational boaters can use the buoys as an alternative to anchoring directly in the coral and causing irreparable damage.

CHARTERNET.COM - Let Charternet do the legwork for you. Tell us what you want and we'll make the arrangements for you. Charternet can put you in touch with Associations & Clubs, Attorneys, suppliers of boating gear and boats, captains and crews, diving gear, fishing gear, and all the stuff you need for a successful trip on, in or under-water.

ORIGINS WITH BURT WOLF is a cooking and general interest series for public television. The shows travel the world looking at the origins of the things that surround us. This Website contains the recipes demonstrated in the series, and are organized according to the standard cookbook indexing (appetizers to desserts), and cross-indexed by the location of the show (Abaco Islands to Yukon Territory).
